Even now, at the crazy Corona time, a beautiful place in Osnabrück's Nettetal ... you come on a hike and can get yourself coffee and homemade cakes ... ok, you kind of crouch on steps or stones somewhere, because the beer garden remains must, but that's absolutely ok in terms of the Corona story ...

I know Gasthaus Knollmeyer from my childhood and youth. At that time, i.e. in the 1960s and 1970s it was a hospitable restaurant. We liked to stop there and drink dark beer and apple juice. The area with the watermill, the Nette, the forest and the sand mountain was, really nice. There was no climbing garden back then, you were still creative yourself;) and played with what nature gave. When I read the reviews today, I think it's a shame that the restaurant is so poorly customer-oriented. The owners should definitely renew their concept, it can be turned into a gold mine. Until then, I recommend bringing home-made picnics for a trip into the beautiful surroundings. Have fun! LG

You could sit outside in the beer garden. You could get drinks. Hence two stars. There was nothing to eat, although a menu was on display. In return, however, there was no menu for drinks. Then you first had to ask what was there. I didn't find the place to be service minded at all. The landlord came over rather grumpy and in a bad mood.

The food is below average and not really appropriate for the price. Of course the place is pretty, but that is also soured by the unfriendliness of the host. You relax here on the site and unfortunately you notice that. Too bad.

Traditional cuisine, delicious soups and an open fire in winter, pleasantly cool in summer thanks to the location, the Nice and the forest. There are also many activities: mini golf and climbing forest (third-party providers), boccia, a visit to the mill

After we let off steam in the climbing garden today, we wanted to pick up a little refreshment from Knollmeyer. Unfortunately it was not possible to just make a portion of french fries with ketchup, as this is not on the menu. When I mentioned that I unfortunately don't eat meat, the cook said "Well then you have to bite the bullet". What a bottomless cheek that I have to listen to it as a paying customer. Never before have I found it difficult to leave something out of a dish. This is not done in a customer-oriented manner. You also have to listen to sayings. Overall unprofessional behavior. Unfortunately, the shed has a monopoly there ...

Great location, because right next door is a children's playground, a river with a water mill (very pleasant water splashing), a mini golf course and a great climbing park in the forest. Very nice environment and very tasty food, which was ready very quickly. The service was very friendly and the prices were absolutely right! It is definitely worth a visit. : D

Stayed there on a Sunday three weeks ago. Hardly anything going on, but the operation was hopelessly overwhelmed. No french fries for children because in "... the deep fryer is not on in winter." That was strange to hear. Please, please a little more enthusiasm for the beautiful, long-established location.

Coffee and cake were brisk on the table. The homemade cake was delicious. The price-performance ratio is top. Friendly service. Nicely located in the middle of the green at an old water mill. There is also a climbing forest and hiking trails right next to it for leisure activities. A large beer garden is also available.
